Welcome to the Reading Technology & Education Foundation

The Reading Technology and Education Foundation is a non-profit foundation operating independently of the School District and taxpayer funds. Our primary mission is to supplement the school system's limited technology budget through a variety of local fundraising activities. Since our inception in 2001, the Reading Technology and Education Foundation has provided over $250,000 in technology grants to Reading Memorial High School.

What's New?

In 2008, RTEF funded grant requests from Killam Elementary School, Coolidge Middle School, Parker Middle School and Reading Memorial High School.

FOT

"Seventh Annual Festival of Trees" at Parker Middle School.

Come and be enchanted by the creatively decorated artificial trees donated by schools, businesses, organizations, clubs and families. Vote for your favorites, participate in the scavenger hunt and have your children listen to the storytelling or decorate their own cookies (always a popular activity).  Face Painting offered by Creative Arts, lobby beautifully decorated by Eric's Greenhouse and Garden Center and cookies donated by The Hot Spot.

Admission is $10.00 per family.
This is our major fundraising event and helps us to fund teacher grant requests submitted from all Reading Public Schools.
